Ordering

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal.

Can I cancel or edit my order?

You can cancel or edit your order within one hour of placing it — look for the option in your order confirmation email. After that window, contact us at info@spencerbadu.com and we'll do our best to help before your order ships.

Do you offer gift cards?

Not yet — but we're working on it. In the meantime, our pieces make great gifts. If you'd like to recommend gift cards, send us a note at info@spencerbadu.com.

How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information and a link to follow your package in real time.

Where else can I buy Spencer Badu?

Our pieces are carried by a growing network of retailers around the world, including FWRD, ESSX NYC, HTOWN (London), Addicted (Korea), and Opener (Korea) — among others.

Shipping

Is shipping free?

Yes — we offer free shipping on all orders. All duties and import taxes are also covered by Spencer Badu, so what you see at checkout is what you pay — no surprise charges upon delivery.

Where do you ship?

We ship internationally to over 176 countries. If you're unsure whether we ship to your location, reach out and we'll confirm.

How long does delivery take?

Please allow 1–2 business days for order processing before your package ships.

• Canada: 1–7 business days (Expedited) or 1–2 business days (Xpresspost)
• United States: 3–7 business days via FedEx
• International: 5–7 business days via FedEx

Delays at customs can occasionally extend international delivery times.

Will I be charged duties or import taxes?

No. All duties and import taxes are covered by Spencer Badu. There are no surprise charges upon delivery — what you see at checkout is what you pay.

Sizing & Fit

How do your pieces fit?

All Spencer Badu pieces are unisex and designed with an intentional silhouette — some styles run relaxed and oversized, others are more tailored. Each product page includes the specific fit note and the size our model is wearing along with their height and chest measurement.

When in doubt, size up for a more relaxed fit, or reference the garment measurement chart on each product page for the most accurate sizing.

How do I find my size?

Every product page includes a detailed size chart with garment measurements. We recommend measuring a similar garment that fits you well and comparing it to our measurements rather than relying on your typical size alone.

Our model information — height, chest measurement, and size worn — is listed on each product page to help you visualize the fit. If you're still unsure, email us and we're happy to advise on a specific piece.

Are your pieces unisex?

Yes — every piece in our collection is designed to be worn by anyone. Spencer Badu is built around the belief that clothing should not be gendered. Share the pieces with your partner, friends, and family.

How should I care for my garment?

Our pieces are made to last. To preserve their quality and shape:

• Dry clean or hand wash in cold water where possible
• Avoid machine washing knitwear, reflective fabrics, and structured pieces
• Lay flat to dry — do not tumble dry
• Store knitwear folded, never hung, to maintain shape

Always check the care label on your specific garment for guidance.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 14 days of your delivery date. To be eligible, items must be:

• In original, unused, unaltered, and unwashed condition
• Returned with original tags and packaging intact

Spencer Badu reserves the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions. Items returned outside the 14-day window or without original packaging may be sent back at our discretion.

Please note that sale items are not eligible for return.

How do I make an exchange?

We're happy to exchange items for a different size or style of equal or lesser value. Here's how it works:

1. Email info@spencerbadu.com within 14 days of receiving your order with your order number and the item you'd like to exchange
2. We'll confirm availability and send you return instructions
3. Ship your item back in its original, unworn condition
4. Once we receive and inspect it, we'll dispatch your replacement

We recommend exchanges over returns — it's faster and ensures you get exactly what you want.

How long does a refund take?

Once we receive your return, please allow 5–7 business days for your refund to be processed to your original payment method. You'll receive a confirmation email once it's done. Your bank may take additional time to reflect the refund on your statement.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?

We're sorry to hear that. Email info@spencerbadu.com within 48 hours of receiving your order with your order number and a photo of the issue and we'll make it right immediately.

Products & Sustainability

Where are your products made?

All Spencer Badu designs are developed in our studio in Canada. We partner with carefully selected factories in Canada, Portugal, and China to bring each piece to life — choosing our manufacturing partners based on quality, craftsmanship, and the specific requirements of each garment.

Are your products and packaging sustainable?

Sustainability is central to how we operate, not an afterthought. We use deadstock fabric — excess material that would otherwise go to waste — across our collections. We intentionally produce in lower quantities and restock based on real demand, so we're never overproducing or contributing to waste.

Our pieces are designed to last well beyond a single season. We recommend dry cleaning or hand washing to preserve the life of your garments. All Spencer Badu packaging is sustainable.

Will sold-out pieces be restocked?

Yes — restocking is a core part of how we operate. Rather than overproducing upfront, we produce intentionally and restock based on demand. Sign up for restock notifications on the product page or join our newsletter to be notified first. Email subscribers always hear about restocks before anyone else.
